Choose a firewall against your traffic, enabled security features, interfaces, remote access and growth plans. The model number or headline firewall throughput alone is not a sizing decision. Ask for an itemised Qatar quotation covering the exact appliance, subscription term and implementation scope.
Compare like-for-like workloads
Use the current manufacturer datasheet for each model. Compare the measures relevant to your intended configuration, including threat protection and encrypted-traffic inspection where required. Record internet speed, concurrent use, VPN requirements and expected growth. A higher headline number does not replace an assessment of the real workload.
Plan the migration before ordering
Identify existing rules, VPNs, certificates and dependencies. Agree a configuration backup, change window, testing checklist and rollback plan. Confirm who owns the support registration and how renewals will be handled. Regional warranty, delivery and distributor availability must be confirmed in the quotation rather than assumed from an overseas listing.
